Swoon partners with a global leader in conveyor solutions seeking an Electrical Product Development Engineer for their state-of-the-art facility in Walker, MI. This role offers the opportunity to design and develop smart, connected solutions that enhance conveyor systems, working alongside a top-tier engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic products for conveyor applications, including sensors, controllers, and communication modules.
- Implement and optimize IoT technologies for real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and system control.
- Develop prototypes and conduct testing to ensure performance, reliability, and industry compliance.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers for seamless integration.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
- 3 years of experience in electronic product development, ideally with IoT applications.
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, embedded systems, and wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
- Experience with design tools like Altium Designer, MATLAB, and programming in C/C , Python (a plus).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
