One of the largest and most innovative banks in the U.S. is launching a large-scale hardware refresh and tech modernization project. They are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Desktop Technician to join their internal IT support team.
🔧 Project Details
You’ll join a 7-person team, working 100% onsite to support critical initiatives, including:
- Updating Microsoft Teams camera drivers on 600 devices
- Replacing machines incompatible with Windows 11
- Executing a laptop refresh project across the organization
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with end users for software setup and hardware swaps
- Perform imaging of laptops/desktops using company-standard tools
- Transfer user profiles and data from old machines to new ones
- Set up new users (desktop configuration, email, LDAP, VPN accounts)
- Troubleshoot software and user access issues on both laptops and desktops
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
- 2 years of hands-on experience in a desktop support or technician role
- Experience working in Microsoft environments
- Familiar with imaging tools and data migrations
