$30.00 to $32.00 per hour

 

 

 

 

Summary (of position):

The Lead Program Monitor is a full-time non-exempt position under the direction of the Property Manager. The Lead Program Monitor is responsible for oversight of the Program Monitors at Swords to Plowshares' permanent supportive housing located at the Stanford Hotel in San Francisco, CA. Duties of this position include supervision of program monitors, conducting and participating in monitor meetings and trainings, ensuring accuracy of reporting, including but not limited to incident reports and shift reports. The Lead Program Monitor is responsible for making sure the program monitors are knowledgeable of the lease, Community Rules, wellness check policies, etc. and apply as needed. The Lead. Program Monitor maintains the schedule for the program monitors and works with the Program Manager for On-Call Staffing to fill vacant shifts. The Lead Program Monitor understands they may be called to fill shifts if the shift cannot be filled with Swords to Plowshares employees or qualified vendors.

 

 

Responsibilities:

The Lead Program Monitor has two (2) primary roles: assisting in property management as needed and managing Program Monitors.

The property management assistance includes but is not limited to:

  • Deliver mail to resident mailboxes in collaboration with other onsite staff
  • Ensure the proper collection and maintenance of data necessary for reporting to management, funders, and VA services staff
  • Ensure legal and contract compliance, including the timely and accurate reporting needed to achieve required contract objectives and outcomes
  • Assistance with resident files, work orders, and logs
  • Act as liaison with local community agencies and businesses who seek to provide services onsite
  • After-hour and weekend accessibility using a company cell phone for onsite staffing or resident emergencies and coverage needs
  • Unit vacancy management in collaboration with property management, the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (DHSH), and the Veterans Administration case management staff
  • Assist with meal service, including but not limited to cooking, preparation, and serving of meals for monthly events
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all building bulletin boards
  • Keep accurate and current forms and logs, as assigned
  • Work in conjunction with maintenance and janitorial staff
  • Ensure communications between residents, staff, and management are timely and professional
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the front desk

Supervisory Responsibilities (If Applicable)

  • Provide day-to-day support and serve as a role model for support staff
  • Track all training and professional development of program monitors
  • Supervise program monitors by providing coaching, discipline, and employee reviews
  • Interview and hire program monitors
  • Maintain calendar/schedule for program monitors
  • Participate in routine supervision with permanent staff
  • Maintain appropriate and timely documentation of supervision meetings
  • Attend all required training to ensure individual and professional growth
  • Participate in routine supervision with permanent staff
  • Employees must be able to carry out other essential duties of the position within what can be considered reasonable accommodation

Desired Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of four (4) years experience of oversight of front desk duties within a residential hotel
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience supervising and training staff

 

Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
