POSITION AVAILABLE: Behavior Specialist OR Behavior Analyst

POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) serving the Educational Learning Center in Pipestone, MN.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists school districts in the design and implementation of child-specific individualized intervention plans; conducts behavioral assessments; assist with program design, data collection and monitoring.

Provides consultative support and training to teachers and district staff. Conducts behavioral assessments, skills assessments and develops individualized behavior plans. Trains and oversees implementation of behavior analytic interventions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Assists in developing and implementing appropriate assessments and behavioral intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases; participates in child study staffings – provides feedback on behavioral assessments, interventions, and strategies; provides technical support and in-service training programs for teachers and other staff; consults and provides parent and staff training; provides regular service reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with implementation of behavior plans; serves as a liaison between school and other agencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree required with job related experience. Valid driver’s license required.

:Master’s Degree required and must have or be willing to obtain Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification. Valid driver’s license required.

CONTRACT/SALARY: This full-time position begins immediately, with an annual salary range of $49,962 to $71,158 for the Behavior Specialist role or $63,076 - $89,836 for the Behavior Analyst role, depending on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. Candidates who have not previously served in a Behavior Specialist or Behavior Analyst position within our organization are eligible for a $3,000 signing bonus.
