Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users via help desk services, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Manage VPN connections and ensure secure remote access for users.
- Support Mac OS environments along with other operating systems as needed.
- Configure and maintain firewall settings to protect the organization's network.
- Utilize Jira for tracking issues and managing IT projects efficiently.
- Document all support interactions in a clear and concise manner using appropriate remedy tools.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement solutions that enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in providing technical support in an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of VPN configurations and security protocols.
- Familiarity with Mac OS as well as other operating systems is preferred.
- Experience with firewall management and network security best practices.
- Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
- Excellent software troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolving user issues promptly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
