We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The IT Support specialist will ensure that all IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall productivity of the organization.
Duties
- Provide desktop support for Windows operating systems, ensuring that all user issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist users with mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, maintaining security protocols.
- Troubleshoot DNS issues and provide solutions to network connectivity problems.
- Utilize Meraki for network management and monitoring to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Analyze user-reported issues using Jira for ticketing and tracking purposes.
- Set up and configure VPN access for remote users, ensuring secure connections.
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Document technical processes and create user guides to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in desktop support with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with mobile devices and their integration into corporate environments.
- Knowledge of DNS configurations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Active Directory for user management is preferred.
- Understanding of Meraki systems for network management is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems effectively and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist users clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
