Duties
- Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Assist users with software applications, including Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and virtual private networks (VPN).
- Utilize ServiceNow and Remedy for ticketing and tracking support requests.
- Perform software troubleshooting on both Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Document issues, solutions, and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations and management.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and implementations.
- Solid experience in software troubleshooting across various platforms.
- Proficient in Linux operating systems as well as Windows Server environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
