Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of network services. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles, virtualization technologies, and DevOps practices. The Network Technician will work collaboratively in an Agile environment to support various IT initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including DNS configurations and connectivity problems.
- Implement and manage virtualization solutions to optimize resource utilization.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation of network tasks and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to support IT projects.
- Manage Citrix environments to ensure seamless access for users.
- Implement secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) for data exchange.
- Document network configurations, processes, and changes for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in network infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of high availability principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Citrix technologies is a plus.
- Proficient in DNS management and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
