The ancestors of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation existed many centuries ago as a community of people…a Tribe living together, farming, hunting and fishing to survive.

- Retains casino client base by interacting on a frequent basis with high value slot and table games players to build and retain loyalty ensuring an excellent guest experience; leverages property amenities/programs to targeted players, determining player value based on analysis of player tracking data, anticipating and responding to needs of targeted guests including arranging accommodations and amenities (shows, hotel, restaurant, transportation) to and/or offsite events.
- Floor presence - Meets and greets players on the casino floor, at special events and promotions. Identifying potential high value players on table games or slots
- Telemarketing- Solicit participation in Casino events and promotions through outbound phone
- Provides support to the Player Development Team by either by answering and facilitating casino Player Development calls, or VIPs approaching the VIP desk; responding to player needs and requests, issuing complimentary items based on player value: promoting Player Development promotions to new and existing players; resolving player issues and complaints following established procedures, promptly notifying management of guest comments and/or complaints.
- Community Development – Attend targeted community events, representing Sycuan in the community in person or electronically; Hosting on and off property events, and acting as a liaison between VIP guests and the Player Development team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese or Korean.
- Ability to read and write in Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese or Korean
- 2 years guest service experience
- Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism, and discretion in all communications to, about, or with customers including their arrangements and finances.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all player accounts
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- Ability to perform data entry
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to sit and stand for up to eight hours at a time
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work weekends and all casino shifts (Day, Swing, Graveyard), including Holidays
- Knowledge of casino games
- Knowledge of MS Office to include Word and Excel
- Multi-lingual (Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese)
