Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation is looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Tribal Office Receptionist.
As the Tribal Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth office operations.
Job Purpose:
Receives and greets callers and visitors and processes incoming and outgoing mail.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Answers incoming calls in a courteous and timely manner and forwards caller to appropriate staff member.
Greets visitors courteously, determines their needs, and directs them to the appropriate person and/or office.
Receives, sorts, and posts all incoming mail from internal and external sources, including the U.S. Post Office and courier services.
Receives outgoing mail daily, adds postage as needed, and sorts for delivery.
Maintains a record of incoming and outgoing long-distance calls.
