Senior Manager, Consolidations and Reporting

The position should be performed from a Sylvamo facility (mill or office). Senior Manager, Consolidations and Reporting – Reports to Director, Corporate Accounting Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the month end close process for the global consolidated financial. statements, including review of consolidation journal entries as needed. Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting. Responsible for periodic SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), including:                                                                                         Reviews the quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations. Coordinates completion of the US GAAP and SEC checklists.   Responsible for full earnings press release process, including:                                                                Review earnings release text, tables and schedules (including footnotes). Circulate drafts and reviews/incorporates feedback and ensures version control. Coordinate filing of earnings release with 3rd party vendor. Review and provide feedback to Investor Relations on earnings presentation.   Other Key Responsibilities:                                                           Perform technical accounting analysis for acquisitions, divestitures, and other significant transactions. Quarterly review of new accounting standards updates. Lead the analysis and adoption of new technical accounting guidance. Perform and document quarterly and annual impairment considerations.                    Perform balance sheet reviews for all material locations. Coordinate with Corporate Communications on financial information included in marketing materials. Responsible for the global consolidated balance sheet and statement of cash flows processes. Coordinate external and internal audit requests. Responsible for review and approval of SAP/BPC master data changes that impact consolidated reporting. Assist with testing for technical upgrades to the Company’s consolidation system.
