GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sylvan Learning Center Co-Director is responsible for delivering a high-quality personal customer experience by ensuring that the ongoing education needs of Sylvan families are met and ensuring robust instructional experiences according to Sylvan standards. The Co-Director serves as one of the points-of-contact for customers and Center operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collaborating with a colleague to manage daily operations, including customer account management, student scheduling, and payments.
- Scheduling and administering initial and ongoing student assessments in line with Sylvan standards.
- Preparing and delivering monthly parent conferences, including all related materials.
- Creating teacher schedules and student seating arrangements to optimize Center needs while controlling labor costs.
- Ensuring instructional quality by overseeing teachers and stepping in when needed due to capacity or scheduling challenges.
- Greeting students and parents, and checking in and out, with a focus on safety, well-being, and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Education is preferred.
- Experience in retail or sales experience, with teaching, supervision, or education management is ideal.
- Proficiency in using technology, particularly for educational purposes, and familiarity with business applications like Microsoft Word.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with an ability to inspire both students and staff.
Must be able to work 12p.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at least two Saturdays per month.
