Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts, developing lesson plans, and adapting instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- ACT/SAT knowledge, ability to teach test strategies and content
- Teach mathematical concepts including but not limited to geometry, algebra, and calculus.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs or varying learning styles.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
- Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding academic performance and behavior.

Skills
- Strong understanding of education principles.
- Knowledge of Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trig/Pre Calc
- ACT/SAT teaching content and strategies
- Knowledge of physiology as it relates to learning processes.
- Experience in special education techniques and strategies.
- Familiarity with computerized teaching tools and resources.
- Background in electrical engineering or chemical engineering is a plus.
- Experience in higher education teaching or tutoring is advantageous.
- Ability to convey complex mathematical concepts clearly, particularly in geometry.
