Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and analyze scripts, providing detailed coverage and feedback.
- Assess story structure, character development, dialogue, and pacing.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in scripts and suggest improvements.
- Evaluate scripts based on marketability and alignment with production goals.
- Provide concise summaries and recommendations for producers and development teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and storytelling techniques.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and production teams as needed.
- Maintain organized records of script evaluations and feedback reports.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in script reading, screenwriting, or film analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills.
- Ability to provide constructive and insightful feedback.
- Knowledge of screenplay formatting, industry standards, and storytelling techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for film, television, and storytelling.
