What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse - LPN/RN position at Symetria Recovery?
Who We Are:
Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed, and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, injectables (Vivitrol, Sublocade), and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.
What You Will Do:
- Provide a leading role in treatment decisions by working closely with the Medical Provider, clinical staff, and Program Director.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for dispensing medications and ensuring the appropriate medical care is administered for patients in recovery.
- Daily interactions with patients to provide support while assisting to improve their health and well-being.
Who You Are:
- Current valid LPN or RN license in the state of Illinois.
- 1-year experience as an LPN or RN required.
- Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge and experience with working with the substance use and mental health population
- Full time position (40 hours per week)
- Flexible hours within the timeframe of 5:30am-6pm with expected schedule of: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2pm, Rotating Saturdays 8am-11am
- The ability to travel to other clinics within the Chicagoland metro area
