Symmetrio is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client, a large government organization in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will spearhead a large-scale Billing Information System (BIS) or ERP replacement project as part of a critical enterprise initiative. The objective is to modernize an outdated billing platform by implementing a scalable solution that enhances data accessibility, streamlines operational efficiency, and strengthens customer service capabilities. You will collaborate closely with operations teams, vendor project managers, and internal IT stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the new system.
This is a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, requiring onsite presence 2-3 days per week. The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage IT-related aspects of the BIS or ERP replacement project from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Ensure alignment between IT requirements and business objectives, providing strategic direction for system modernization.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and build consensus.
- Monitor project performance, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to achieve project goals.
- Provide detailed project documentation, progress reports, and meeting notes as required.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams, business units, and the BIS or ERP vendor to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.
- Develop and execute communication plans to support system implementation and adoption.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Oversee data migration, system integrations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure requirements.
- Coordinate efforts between development teams, database administrators, and vendors to ensure compatibility with existing and future systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security policies.
- 10 years of IT project management experience, specifically in large-scale enterprise system implementations or ERP replacements.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or ITIL certification.
- Strong understanding of billing systems, customer information systems, data migration, integrations, and IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders within complex IT environments.
- Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for enterprise IT projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage projects within scope, time, and budget while balancing competing priorities.
