**This position is a hybrid role (combination of remote days AND in-office days) based out of our Eden Prairie, MN office.**
Job Description
This position will be directly responsible for the initial timely and accurate completion of all non-originated files which includes readying statement of denial documents to ensure compliance with company and standards. Additional duties include working on originated loan closing coordination, closing documents, funding approvals and loan booking.
Responsibilities
· Manage a list of non-originated loan files to be completed to department standard operating times
· Complete all necessary information that supports the final disposition of a non-originated loan
· Print, envelope and mail all denial notices within department and ECOA standards
· Assist with mortgage subordination requests as needed
· Develop and maintain communication between Loan Coordinators, mortgage brokers, and other vendors to assist timely processing and closing of loan files
· Coordinate mortgage loan closing schedule and prepare files for closing working closely with title companies
· Review all closing documents to ensure that all required documents and information are present, and that the information contained in the documentation comply with company, regulatory, and investor requirements
· Review and approve closed loan packages, issue funding approval, and book loans to servicing system
· Monitor status of loans in pipeline on a regular basis
· Comply with company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and investor guidelines
· Care for non-public information (NPI) regarding borrowers and ensure all applicable internal NPI policies and procedures are followed and confidentiality of borrower information is maintained
Qualifications / Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree with major course work in a related discipline or equivalent job experience
· 0-1 years in mortgage lending with preference towards loan processing and/or quality assurance
· Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
· Detail-orientation with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
