YOUR Why
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our client’s IT team. This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the IT infrastructure, including both Linux and Windows servers, networks, and end-user systems. In addition to standard systems administration duties, this role will provide desktop support and troubleshooting for internal users.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Systems Administration :
Manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
Perform routine system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and incidents.
Create and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, and support audits and vulnerability assessments.
Participate in IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
Desktop Support :
Provide Tier 1 and 2 support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including setting up and decommissioning accounts, devices, and access permissions.
Install and configure desktop applications and operating systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for users.
What YOU Bring
3 years of experience in systems administration and desktop support.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies.
Proficiency in scripting and automation.
Familiarity with network configuration and troubleshooting (e.g., switches, firewalls, VLANs).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or similar are a plus.
