About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Indiana driver's license, and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving a passenger bus and strong communication skills. As a Transportation Driver/Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for transporting residents to scheduled appointments, completing daily inspections of vehicles and equipment, and following all local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Transport residents to scheduled appointments in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete daily inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations relating to transportation and developmental disability services.
- Report any incidents, problems, or equipment defects to the designee.
- Assist in day-to-day maintenance of the facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be insurable with company insurance.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Experience in driving a passenger bus.
- Strong communication skills.
