We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team in Virginia (Region 1)! This is a contract role with a highly respected client in the Department of Corrections (DOC). If you have a strong background in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and are passionate about healthcare technology, this could be the perfect role for you!
About the Role:
As a Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will:
- Design, develop, configure, implement, and support the VADOC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Ensure compliance with CTSU Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and guidance to staff.
- Assist with software design documents and workflows based on healthcare standards.
- Customize, evaluate, and document the VADOC EHR system and business workflows.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting EHR systems.
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodology.
- Strong documentation skills for workflow processes in healthcare settings.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to provide technical training and support in healthcare environments.
- System/technical configuration experience is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in healthcare or business administration is highly desired.
Work Arrangement:
- Onsite 4 days/week at 6900 Atmore Drive, Virginia.
- Parking is not provided.

- Candidates must be able to commit to onsite interviews and the 4-day onsite work arrangement.

- Candidates must physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.
