Overview

In collaboration with our dedicated Quality Manager, this pivotal role offers technical expertise in developing and implementing ISO 9000 Quality Management systems. You'll support lean, continuous improvement processes and provide essential quality engineering assistance across sales, engineering, procurement, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Quality Manager to sustain the Quality Management System, and manage responsibilities in their absence.
• Maintain rigorous ISO 9000 certification standards through comprehensive auditing and documentation.
• Oversee quality in contract, design, and work order reviews to ensure regulatory and customer satisfaction.
• Participate as an MRB member, addressing defective materials and refining processes.
• Utilize quality tools like FMEA, PMP, and SPC to uphold quality standards.
• Represent the company during customer and regulatory audits, offering leadership in internal and external audits.
• Direct development and application of quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
• Address technical product issues, collaborating with engineering for resolutions.
• Design sampling procedures and evaluate equipment precision to recommend improvements.
• Lead cross-functional FMEA efforts.
• Guide supplier development and perform annual supplier evaluations.
• Advocate for Continuous Process Improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
• Oversee the Measuring & Test Equipment program.
• Craft and uphold internal quality systems and procedural documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance roles.

• Over 7 years in quality engineering roles with a focus on electronic manufacturing.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and ISO/TL 9000 support.

• Capable of strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with robust communication proficiency.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Essential Proficiencies:

• Electrical systems diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience with ISO 9001 certification processes.
