Description
The content producer is responsible for copyediting and proofreading technical content, white papers, marketing publications, and manuscripts for e-books published in our Syncfusion Succinctly series. This person will closely interact with staff to revise, edit, and publish software-related content. The content producer must adhere to in-house and industry styles, ensuring all content is well-written and error-free.
The content producer will work as part of a team to build e-books with confidence, knowing the publications are free of errors. This position will ensure that all published content is representative of Syncfusion's standards.
While this is a remote position, we are seeking candidates that are located within 50-miles of our office in Morrisville, N.C.

Core Responsibilities
- Copyedit manuscripts for technical e-books, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to designated templates and style guidelines.
- Copyedit technical and marketing blogs for Syncfusion websites, maintaining a consistent tone and style that aligns with company brand.
- Ensure e-book template is adhered to and proper styling is being applied in order to create e-books for the Succinctly series.
- Adhere to in-house templates and style guides for blogs.
- Understand and execute prescribed editorial workflow within Syncfusion's content management system.
- Assure quality of all published documents and online materials.
- Collaborate with technical writers, product managers, and marketing teams to gather necessary information and context for editing tasks.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the content creation process.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure blog content is optimized for search engines and adheres to best practices for online visibility.
- Conduct research to gather information, statistics, and examples that can enhance the depth and quality of e-books and blog articles.
- Verify the accuracy of technical content, including software features and data, to ensure reliability and trustworthiness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to ensure all content remains relevant and up to date.
Education, Experience, Specialized and Preferred Skills
Education Level : Bachelor of science or arts degree, or equivalent experience, in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or English.
Required Experience : 1-5 years of technical writing, editing, copyediting, or graphic design experience, or a combination thereof.
Specialized Skills, Certificates, Licenses : Copyediting
Required Skills : Excellent English writing. Excellent copyediting of English for grammar, mechanics, and style. Publishing experience (either print or online). Comfort and proficiency with software and digital technologies. Demonstrative ability to stay organized.
