What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Synchronize?
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for renting, increasing the customer base, and growing the equipment rental business.
POSITION SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates and provides regular informative updates with the Branch Manager, General Manager, and Executive Team regarding the rental opportunity.
- Responsible for effectively communicating with customers via telephone, email, and additional communication methods.
- Responsible to produce incremental rental and sales revenue for Impact.
- Forecast/Report areas for expected growth opportunities in existing and new equipment markets to Branch Manager and General Manager.
- Work closely with Reeves Young field personnel to update accurate equipment rental durations, obtain a subcontractor list from each RY project and coordinate rentals to the projects with all contractors.
- The ability to learn different equipment models, attachments, and applications is an important part of the position.
- Open new rental accounts focused on external rental growth.
- Assist the Impact team with account collections.
- Drive sales of new and used equipment to external customers.
- Work and communicate timely, complete information with Impact staff ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Record pertinent customer, jobsite, and related information into the rental CRM software.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures established by Impact or, if more stringent, by the job site General Contractor.
- Maintain company provided truck in a clean, professional manner promoting the corporate Impact branding.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Degree preferred not required.
- Exceptional relationship building skills are necessary.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-taking is required.
- Sense of Urgency with a desire to serve is essential.
- The ability to promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of Impact.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to engage in conversation with various groups including but not limited to clients and vendors.
- Must be able to travel frequently to attend meetings, presentations, and jobsites.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to move around the office, retrieve files, and operate office equipment.
- Must be able to operate a computer and landline phone efficiently.
