Essential Responsibilities
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide HR business support through thought partnership and coaching to all levels of the organization.
- Partner with senior management and people leaders to provide strategic direction, creative solutions and execution of deliverables related to staffing and retention, succession management, talent development, employee relations, resource planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
- Develop, manage, and implement impactful engagement plans in support of Synchrony’s way of working, culture, and values.
- Collaborate with Senior Management and their teams to effectively manage change within the function and across the organization.
- Manage, facilitate, and create employee growth and development programs, including the Business Leadership Program (BLP), job leveling, and creation of new programs as required.
- Work with external staffing organizations to identify and recruit key talent and to foster a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Manage employee relations concerns/escalated issues within client groups. Building relationships of trust with all teams.
- Lead other initiatives or projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 8 years of HR experience
- 5 years of increasing HR Generalist experience in Human Resources.
- Experience as an effective business partner supporting multiple executive level clients, specifically exempt employees.
- Experience supporting a geographically diverse, matrixed client group.
- Experience in an HR role within financial services presenting to regulatory organization as well as other external stakeholders directly related to the Risk function
- Experience working with remote/virtual teams
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with various levels in an organization.
- Demonstrated strength in coaching, employee relations and conflict resolution
- Excellent influencing, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong influence and change management skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business-Related Field

Eligibility Requirements
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
