Preventative Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing
Syndeo Staffing has a direct hire opening for our client, a leading out-processing and finishing company in the aerospace industry. We are seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician to join their team.
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, your primary role will be to perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of manufacturing equipment. Your work will help maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Pay Range: $16–18/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment (e.g., greasing machinery, changing air filters, belts, and parts).
- Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Assist in scheduling maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies during maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus but not required).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance role preferred
- Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn about equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals through print and video (gaming experience helpful)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environmental conditions.
- Comfort with heights, climbing ladders, standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record
