Our Challenge:
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in API automation and extensive experience in the credit card domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Business Credit Card model through automated testing, collaborating closely with our offshore team to execute API tests effectively.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $100k-$110k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing in the Business Credit Card model.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
- Coordinate with the offshore team to ensure seamless execution of automated tests and timely reporting of results.
- Identify, document, and track defects through the testing lifecycle, ensuring that issues are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and automation frameworks.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to QA automation and API testing.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on API testing.
- Strong experience in the credit card domain, particularly with Business Credit Card models.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related testing tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is preferred.
