Our challenge

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Trading Platform Specialist - Murex or Calypso with over 10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in software development, particularly within the banking, investment banking, or credit card industry sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of credit card/payment industries or similar and the ability to lead and mentor a development team, while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Strong expertise in Java development, coupled with a strong background in financial services, is essential for success in this position.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX with salary 110,000-120,000/ year & benefits.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain Murex or Calypso trading platforms.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Provide expertise in front-office, middle-office, and back-office functionality within Murex/Calypso.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the implementation of new product types, workflows, and risk management functionalities.
• Work with development teams to customize and optimize platform performance.
• Provide ongoing support and resolve technical issues related to Murex/Calypso systems.
