- Draft appellate briefs, motions, and related legal documents
- Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
- Handle appeals in state and federal courts
- Work primarily on insurance defense matters including: Wrongful death & bodily injury claims, No-Fault litigation, Product liability, Construction and professional liability, Contract and other complex litigation matters
- Participate in oral arguments and legal strategy development
- Travel locally and out-of-state as required
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in [State] (additional bar admissions a plus)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- 2-5 years of appellate or litigation experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
