- Our expertise is designing residential subdivisions and other various commercial site plans and carrying these projects through to completion.
- We have a long history and great reputation for subdivision design in Northeast Indiana and are committed to exceeding the goals of each client by helping them create unique and desirable residential subdivisions and commercial developments.
- It is our desire to bring a second full-time professional engineer to our staff. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated staff of 2 professional surveyors and a support staff of 8 drafting, field crew, and clerical employees.
- We are seeking a talented individual to join our knowledgeable, creative, and experienced team.
- Manage, organize, and execute engineering projects
- Manage and direct project team on areas such as roadway construction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, lift stations, etc.
- Attend project and planning meetings on and off-site as required
- Communicate directly with permitting, zoning, planning, etc. on projects
- Timely communication with clients and staff
- Maintain project and meeting schedules
- Attentive to and maintains deadlines
- Attentive to project budgets while recording and reporting daily time sheets
- Assist in preparing proposals to establish the scope of work and costs
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Indiana
- 10 or more years of related experience in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on subdivision and site design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - candidates will be expected to interact with our clients regularly
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft programs
- Experience working with Allen County, Indiana, offices is preferred but not required
