Duties :

Develop Microstation drawings used to complete civil construction of natural gas infrastructure projects.

Develop standard detail drawings in Microstation

Conduct analysis of external / third party designs using internal tools and ensure each design follows the required specifications.

Work in collaboration with engineering staff

Thoroughly understand construction drawing packages, civil site design, foundation design and structural design.

Qualifications :

Associate degree in an applicable scientific or technical field.

Significant years of relevant design experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.

Computer and applications knowledge and experience drafting construction drawings required.

Clear and precise designs are needed to effectively convey the design requirements to the construction contractors. Designs need to be safe, ergonomic, and practical.

Experience with Bentley products including MicroStation, Open Plant and ProjectWise are preferred.

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
