Responsibilities:
Our client is a well-established law firm specializing in foreclosure and bankruptcy matters in New Jersey and New York, is seeking an experienced Foreclosure & Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their team.
Assist attorneys with New Jersey foreclosure default cases, including pleadings, motions, title searches, sheriff's sales, and deed recordings.
Support attorneys in bankruptcy matters, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
Conduct legal research, manage case files, and track deadlines.
Ensure all filings comply with state and federal laws.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for efficient case progression.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in New Jersey foreclosure default processes, including pleadings, title review, and sheriff's sales.
Experience with bankruptcy procedures is required; familiarity with New York foreclosure is a plus.
Strong legal research, document preparation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
