Description

• This position is responsible for formulating liquid and lyophilized dosage forms for protein therapeutics to support preclinical and clinical needs.
• Performs developmental studies for protein therapeutics, prepares data summaries and writes technical reports documenting various aspects of protein formulation development.
  
  

Qualifications

• BS or MS in biochemistry, biophysical chemistry, pharmaceutical science, physical chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field with 1-3 years of analytical development and/or protein formulation experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Prior experience in development of protein formulations and stability assessment is preferred
• Hands-on experience in analytical techniques used for protein characterization and stability testing (HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, IcIEF, DSC, DLS, HIAC, MFI).
• Strong communication, documentation and report writing skills.
• Formulation development of protein therapeutics
• Proficient in analytical techniques used for protein characterization and stability testing
• Proficient analytical techniques used for protein characterization
• Strong communication, documentation and report writing skills
• Knowledge of: HPLC, CE-SDS, IcIEF, DSC, DLS, HIAC, and MFI.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
