Job Title: Steel/Misc Metals Detailer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Ocala, FL

This position requires a highly motivated individual who can solve problems quickly and multitask effectively. The Detailer will be responsible for producing efficient work with little to no supervision. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a strong work ethic, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to be a team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as consistent dependability and punctuality, are essential. This is not a remote position.

Examples of previous work are preferred. AISC knowledge is a plus.

A Checker will review drawings released for fabrication with knowledge of AISC, AWS, and NISD standards.

Steel Detailer / Checker Responsibilities

• Accurately produce detailed shop drawings and erection plans independently.
• Review and assess current work for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Communicate project details to management.
• Revise, update, and maintain ongoing projects with necessary alterations.
  
  

Steel Detailer / Checker Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret contract drawings, standard specifications, standard drawings, and shop drawings.
• Detailing experience with proficiency in AutoCAD.

Schedule

• 8 to 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour

Expected Hours: No more than 53.5 per week
