Roles and Responsibilities

Estimating :

Identify job leads using sources like Sierra Contractors Source, Building Connected, PlanHub, and outside sales techniques.
Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Determine labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients.

Project Management :

Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop project schedules and ensure all milestones are met.

Coordinate with crews and subcontractors for efficient project execution.

Monitor project budgets, adjusting as necessary to maintain profitability.

Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Client Relations :

Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications / Requirements

Proven experience as an estimator or project manager in fencing, construction, gate operators, security, or related industries.

Strong understanding of commercial fencing materials, gate operators, installation processes, and cost factors.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Proficiency in estimation software and project management tools.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
