Job purpose
The Assistant Manager of Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring overall product quality, meeting productivity goals, machine safety and minimization of downtime through effective electrical equipment maintenance.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for electrical system projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for electrical works from start to finish.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.
- Oversee day-to-day electrical maintenance of all facilities, buildings and equipment focusing on keeping all electrical equipment in an operating and functional condition by directing a workforce consisting of technical and non-technical Team Members and / or contractors.
