Job Purpose :
The Assistant Manager of Electrical Maintenance ensures product quality, machine safety, and minimal downtime through effective electrical equipment maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors on electrical projects.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
Manage electrical project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Oversee electrical maintenance of facilities, equipment, and buildings.
Develop and manage preventative electrical maintenance programs.
Plan and control electrical maintenance budgets and vendor contracts.
Schedule and document maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hazardous waste regulations.
Manage electrical parts inventory to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance teams.
Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate electrical maintenance staff.
Ensure safety training and documentation are completed as required.
Qualifications :
10 years of electrical maintenance experience.
Knowledge of 3-phase distribution, PLCs, robots, and servo motors.
3-5 years of leadership experience in a managerial role.
Experience in electrical systems within a manufacturing facility.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Availability for on-call work, including weekends and holidays.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Associate degree required.
Working Conditions :
Office and non-temperature-controlled shop floor environment.
