CDL B - Boom Truck Driver/Operator

We are seeking a Boom Truck Driver / Operator, with a valid CDL B license, to join our client's growing team in Greenwood, DE. They are a family owned and operated company that values our drivers.Flatbed experience is not required, but it is a plus!Job Responsibilities : -Learn our company"s safety program and always perform safe practices.-Safely and efficiently operate a boom truck-transport and set precast concrete structures to and from the production site(s) to various customer job sites as directed by the dispatcher. Ensure delivery records are processed appropriately.-Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner.-Be a team player and maintain a positive attitude with other team members.-Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to ensure proper delivery, placement, and provide best-in-class service.-Visually inspect the quality of the concrete structures before strapping down the product to leave the plant(s).-Perform daily pre-trip equipment inspections (including tire pressure, brakes, air pressure, fluid levels, and lights - headlights, brake lights, running lights, etc.), as well as daily preventative truck maintenance.-Demonstrate reliable work ethic and self-motivation-Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed.Qualifications : -Must be at least 23-years of age.-License : Must possess a valid CDL B driver's license with current medical card and pass a DOT drug screening.-Driving : Minimum one (1) year of CDL driving experience with a clean driving record for the last 5 years.-Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.-Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.-Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff-Interpreting written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals-Strong work ethic with flexibility, as this position requires varied working hours and ability to work weekends as needed.-will be home daily : typically a 50 - 100 mile driving radius #ZRNC
