Synerfac is seeking a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative for our client in Castle Hayne, NC. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the highest level of customer satisfaction including order taking, dispatching, scheduling of drivers and deliveries, delivery efficiency and inter-department communication.- Responsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching and customer relations- Maintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system- Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints- Provide customer support to ensure maximum efficiency- Identify and communicate repairs and maintenance of logistics communication equipment- Ability to work well under pressure; previous customer service experience in a high pressure / high volume environment required- Familiar with geographical areas in NC- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime- Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
