What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Associate position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
We have a client located in Leetsdale, PA seeking an Engineering Associate.
Direct/Permanent placement

- Responsible for providing engineering documents for all company products
- Prepare engineering documents including Bills of Materials, specification sheets, and part information
- Work alongside operations, engineering, and administrative personnel to ensure accuracy
- Assigns and controls part numbering system for new and revised items to be introduced
- Engineering and sales product research projects
- Assists with the design and manufacturing engineers
- Set up and operate 3D printers and work with Engineers and Drafters on production of 3D printed parts
- Prepares estimates and prototype of products as required
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in mechanical field; Bachelor"s degree preferred
- 1 year of previous work experience required - experience in manufacturing and/or fluid power industry preferred
- Microsoft Office Excel and Access experience required
- Knowledge of ERP software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
- Willing to obtain certifications/licenses in mechatronics or fluid power
- Ability to read blueprints from CAD documents
- This is an in-office position
