Work directly for a Middlesex County area specialty manufacturing company.HR and Payroll Specialist : ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Directs and coordinates all activities related to management of human resources and company payroll.
- Completes Pre-hire screening, E-Verify and onboarding new hires.
- Processes payroll and handle all reporting requirements pertaining to Payroll
- Communicate with ADP and resolving payroll tax related issues
- Helps in recruitment process and candidate interviews.
- Coordinates and manages matters related to benefits such as health insurance and 401k program.
- Develops internal guidelines for performance reviews and disciplinary action plans.
- Assists employees with information on benefits and company policies.
- Acts as intermediary in resolution of non-union employee grievances.
- Communicates in a professional manner with internal staff and outside contacts.
- Maintenance of personnel records
- Prepare and submit payroll to ADP after verifying employee hours, PTO, holidays, garnishments and all other relevant data.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors level degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with payroll process on ADP
- Knowledge of FMLA, garnishments, benefits, 401k and COBRA
