Renewed HR is a family owned, boutique, outsourced HR service provider located in Holmdel, NJ. Our niche business model is to work with small to mid-size companies, partnering with them as their fractional HR Department. We work across industries including tech, telecommunications, hospitality, food manufacturing, fragrance & ingredients, and community health partners, and our clients have offices / facilities across the US.
As we grow, we are looking to bring on a talented, and motivated Benefits, Payroll, and HR Systems Specialist to support the HR services and initiatives we provide to our clients. What will you be doing?
- Benefits Administration :
Administer client’s benefits programs including health, COBRA, disability, wellness, and leaves such as FMLA and ADA
Manage Open Enrollment sessions with brokers and PEOs, ensuring that all enrollments are processed within enrollment periodsServe as point of contact for employee questionsManage leaves of absence, coordinating documentation, payroll deductions, and communications with employeesCoordinate with brokers / employees for on-going qualified event changes during the yearManage COBRA administration with vendor for off-boarded employeesSystems Analyst :Manage and maintain client’s HR technology systems, including HRIS, ATS, benefits, and payroll platforms
Work with vendors to identify best solution for client’s needsProject-manage implementation / build out of various systems and carrier connections between platformsCreate training material for employees for use of systemsRun various reports based on client needsPayroll Administration :Accurately process client’s payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely payment and compliance with all relevant labor laws
Maintain payroll records, calculating deductions, and addressing any payroll-related inquirieHandle special payroll scenarios, such as bonuses, overtime, garnishments, and tax adjustmentsVerify and input employee timekeeping data from time clocks or timekeeping systemsProcess off-cycle payroll runs, including terminations, retroactive payments, or correctionsIn conjunction with payroll provider, prepare and process year-end payroll reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required tax formsCoordinate with state agencies regarding various tax inquiries, registrations, and set upHR Projects :Contribute to various HR projects for both RHR and clients which may include researching a variety of topics, drafting proposals and supporting implementation of initiatives
Relationship Management :Build and foster a collaborative relationship with clients and HR team
Build and maintain a customer centric approach to support our clientsClient Services :Brainstorm with Renewed HR team on additional initiatives / services to provide to client group
Support business development and awareness of HR trends for clients by contributing to bi-monthly newsletter on key HR topicsSupport RHR team on developing internal processes and improving workflowWhat experience do you need to be successful?
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related areaSHRM certification preferred5 years relevant Human Resources experience focused on HR systems, payroll, and benefits administrationExceptional attention to detail and highly organizedProficiency working with payroll software and an understanding of relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting best practicesUnderstanding of benefits plans and specific state regulations related to COBRA and leave managementWorking knowledge of various HR systems such as ADP, Bamboo HR, Workable, Gusto, Paylocity, is highly preferredExperience in a consulting / outsourced environment is a plusAbility to work with employees at all levels of the organization, including C Suite executiveCan work both autonomously as well as within a team environmentExcellent Project Management skills, including follow-up and meeting deadlinesOutstanding communications skills, both written and verbalExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)What do we offer?
