Our client is looking to add a lead CNC Machinist to their team to work directly under the milling manager! Our client is a leader in manufactured products within the medical and defense industry and has been in business coming up on 30 years! They have a very family focused environment and individuals that join their team typically stick for a long period of time.
The Lead CNC Machinist would mainly be in charge of operating 5 axis machinery to produce parts that are a part of the medical, dental, and defense industries.
Qualified candidates need to have experience with 5 axis CNC Machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Operate 5 axis CNC Machinery CNC machines to produce parts that are part of the medical, defense, and dental industries.
- Other duties include inspection, deburring, maintaining quality and safety standards, completing records; maintaining equipment, tooling, and supplies.
- Setup and programming opportunities were available. Excellent communication skills.
- Dimensional inspection and documentation per drawing, check sheets and procedures.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Perform minor offsets, adjusting feeds, speeds and tooling changes.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with CNC machining
- Experience with Citizen or HAAS machinery is highly preferred
- Experience with 5 axis machinery is REQUIRED
- Understanding of GD&T REQUIRED
