What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics/Warehouse Specialist position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
We are seeking a warehouse/logistics specialist in Irwin, PA
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities:
-Packing parcel packages for safe transit and arrival at our customers locations
-Package and Band LTL and TL Freight shipments for safe transit to our customers
-Load trucks for shipments to our customers
-Perform receiving functions including unloading trucks and incoming inspection of shipments for accuracy (both part and quantity)
-Use ERP System to verify shipments against Purchase Orders
-Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
-Order shipping supplies as needed
-Monitor emails for new orders, system shipments, direct shipments, order updates, shipment notifications including tracking, and other needs to support the business
-Maintain a clean work environment
-Other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager
Minimum Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Comprehensive PC knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF Editor
-Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, FedEx, and UPS software a plus
-Licensed to Operate a Forklift
-HAZMAT Shipping Experience a plus
-Use tools to be able to open crates and cut lumber for crate manufacturing
-Work well in an ever changing team environment
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong attention to detail and able to multitask on a regular basis
-Valid Driver"s License
Physical Requirements:
-Spend majority of the day on foot
-Able to lift packages up to 50lbs
-Ability to wear safety glasses and PPE as required
