Our client New Kensington is seeking a Material Planner to join the team Duties : - Enter and track Purchase Orders (POs) in the system to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials for engineering and production projects.- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, shipping times, and product specifications.- Monitor the status of POs and report any delays or issues to the engineering team.- Work closely with the engineering team to prepare and process client quotes for various manufacturing projects.- Gather and review project specifications, material requirements, and timelines to generate accurate and competitive quotes.- Ensure all quotes are documented, maintained, and provided to clients promptly.- Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes, costs, production schedules, and resource utilization.- Prepare reports and dashboards to help the engineering team make data-driven decisions.- Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering supervisor or manager.Requirements : - 2 Year associates Degree or experience - At least 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment with Material Planning, Job Estimation, data analysis etc- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data analysis tools or software.- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
