Municipal Project Engineer :
Work directly for a growing regional Somerset County New Jersey area Engineering / Surveying Firm.
Position Description :
- Municipal client representation as Township or Borough engineer
- Municipal meeting attendance
- Project management to review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, storm water, escrow accounts, construction administration
- Project engineering design for storm water and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting
- Technical writing of reports such as technical memos, feasibility studies, and engineering assessment and design reports
- Construction support services, such as contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management
- Prior experience with municipal account management in either a primary or backup role
- Retention and development of Client relationships
- Perform business development to help facilitate growth in the area of municipal and utility engineering
