Our client is a national leader in high quality welding, fabricating, and Maintenance solutions for a wide variety of clients.The Steel Fitter and Fabricator would be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, using various welding techniques, fabricate from blueprints, and working with various systems and hand tools.Job requirements : - Fit up and / or fabricate from blueprints- Experience in structural steel fitting / fabricating a necessity- Read, interpret, and apply Blueprints- Welding MIG, Stick, TIG- Inspect and follow QC / QA guidelinesPreferred experience in the following use of equipment / processes : - Band saw- Ironworker- Bridgeport- Oxy acetylene torch / cutting- Overhead crane systems- Tow motor / forklift operationQualifications : - Experience in structural steel fitting / fabricating a necessity- Read, interpret, and apply Blueprints- Welding MIG, Stick, TIG- Inspect and follow QC / QA guidelines- Band saw- Ironworker- Bridgeport- Oxy acetylene torch / cutting- Overhead crane systems- Tow motor / forklift operation
