Responsibilities :
- Process customer payments by recording transactions made through cash or check.
- Monitor income by confirming and entering transactions from lockbox and local deposits.
- Update accounts receivable by calculating outstanding invoices.
- Ensure the accuracy of account discrepancies by gathering and reviewing information from sales, trade promotions, and customer service.
- Oversee the accounts payable process, which includes handling vendor invoices, managing approval workflows, and coordinating payment timelines.
- Manage collections by reviewing customer payment schedules, payment history, and credit terms.
- Foster strong vendor relationships and work to negotiate favorable payment terms whenever possible.
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
