Work for a manufacturer in Somerset County as an Assistant Project Manager :
A Leading steel and truss manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Project Manager who has a structural framing background in light gauge steel and / or wood framing including extensive experience mid-rise construction. The individual will be responsible for all phases of job management from coordination with estimators, designers, shop fabrication, installation subcontractors, design professionals and customers. The candidate must be fully competent in aspects of carpentry, possess a good working knowledge of general building construction and codes, and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment of criteria in construction documents. - Schedule flow of work from design thru punch list
- Communicate effectively with team, consultants, vendors, and clients.
- Perform estimating take-offs, learn pricing methods and draft change orders.
- Schedule panel and truss deliveries to the field
- Coordinate installation subcontractors
- Review in house shop and panel drawings for conformance with project requirements.
- Perform material take-offs for ordering of necessary materials
- Coordinate any ongoing project revisions and addendums as required.
- Create Subcontracts for installation subs based on company templates
