Synerfac is seeking a Automations & Controls Specialist for our client in Parkersburg, WV. Our client provides comprehensive Architecture, Engineering and Surveying services, focused on precise results, efficient practices and community minded solutions.
As an Automation & Controls Specialist at an Architecture and Engineering firm, your main responsibility would be to design, implement, and maintain automated systems that control various building systems, such as lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and access control.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with architects and engineers to design and integrate automated systems into building designs
- Selecting appropriate control equipment and components, such as sensors, actuators, and controllers
- Conducting tests and simulations to ensure that systems are functioning as intended and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise with automated systems
- Providing technical support and training to building operators and maintenance staff
- Staying up-to-date with advances in automation and control technology and applying that knowledge to improve building performance
