What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Engineer position at Synerfac?

Performing structural analysis and design for transportation structures

Conducting load ratings for bridges, box culverts, and pipes

Preparing engineering calculations and developing design drawings

Reviewing drawings and reports to develop design options, repair recommendations, and cost estimates

Conducting fieldwork, site visits and bridge inspections, and preparing inspection reports

Confirming work is in compliance with AASHTO, MDOT SHA, and project-specific standards and requirements

Other duties as required

Salary : $75,000-$95,000

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural
3-5 years of experience and knowledge of bridge systems
Maryland EIT if possible
Maryland PE preferred
Must have NBIS Bridge Inspection Team Leader Certification or be willing to obtain
Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD code requirements
MicroStation preferred

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
